Its a Swap!!!!!

Hello girls! I am going to host my very first swap! Here is the scoop….

It is called Pretty Petals “Junque in my Trunk” Swap. I am so nervous and excited too! The idea is to fill a small box with yummy vintage flea market things. Then, (and this is my favorite part) you have to gift wrap the box in a super fabulous and pretty way! This swap is ALL ABOUT packaging… so make it as pretty as you can inside and out!

…. here are the rules

1. You will need a small box…. Think pencil box size. Paper Mache boxes at the craft store would be great to pick up for this or those pretty storage boxes they sell at the craft stores. Don’t make it too big because we will be filling them with little vintage treasures and you have to ship them and I don’t want this to be an expensive swap for anyone.

2. Fill the box with vintage or vintage inspired yummies… suggestions would be old postcards, lace, old papers, trims, ribbons, buttons, jewelry, cute art supplies, millinery flowers, maybe something special like a tiny doll or sweet little trinket. Find out what your swap partner loves…for example if your partner loves roses, then roll with it! You could also go with a color themed box and use your partners favorite color to guide your choices.

3. Here is the part I love, once you get your box filled with Beautiful Vintagey Junque… you will need to gift wrap it in a super ultra fabulous way!!! Use your creativity. Use special wrapping papers, ribbon, tags, floppy flowers… whatever you think is beautiful. Make it so that it will be so fabulous they won’t want to open it!!!!!

4. Max you should spend would be $25.00 – this is not to say that you have to spend 25.00, but please do not spend any more than that to be fair to everyone participating. :)

5. This swap WILL be open to all of my overseas friends so if you don’t want to ship overseas then please don’t sign up.

6. Sign ups will be taken until I reach 50 participants or by March 12th, whichever comes first. I will send you your swap partner by March 15th and you will need to mail your swap package by April 15th. (NOW FULL)
